Depression & Anxiety

What Could Your Days Look Like Without Managing These Symptoms Alone?
Often, we undergo experiences that change us profoundly, sometimes without even realizing it. These changes can lead us to a place in life where we wonder, "How did I get here? And how do I get back?" Understanding your life is a significant part of changing it, and we can help you on this journey.

How Can Therapy Help?
Therapy can lead to improvements in all areas of life. If you feel like something is holding you back from living life as you envision it, therapy can help you address these barriers. When you're unsure about what's preventing change, therapy can help you discover the underlying issues.

How Do I Know if I Need Therapy?
Some common symptoms and signs that seeing a therapist could be beneficial include:

  • Feeling overwhelmed and stressed

  • Chronic fatigue

  • Disproportionate rage or anger

  • Fear of leaving your home

  • Experiencing anxious or intrusive thoughts

  • Loss of interest in usual activities

  • Hopelessness

  • Social withdrawal

Consider if your issues or symptoms cause you to:

  • Spend at least an hour each day thinking about or coping with them

  • Feel embarrassed and avoid others

  • Suffer from a decreased quality of life

  • Struggle in school, work, or relationships

  • Change your life or develop habits to cope

There is no right or wrong reason to seek therapy. Whether you have specific symptoms you'd like help with or a general sense of discontent with your current life, our therapists are here to listen and assist you in achieving your goals.

Did You Know?

1 in 5 American adults live with a mental health condition, yet only about 40% seek help.

Untreated issues often worsen and may have other negative effects. Perhaps you have already experienced this?

Unlike medication, therapy teaches skills that last a lifetime, meaning that even if therapy is no longer needed, your symptoms can continue to improve!

Change is possible. Our team is invested in the continual and lasting growth of our clients, providing meaningful support that empowers you to write your own story.

What Will Getting Therapy Look Like?

Deciding to give therapy a try is a significant step. After sending us your information through the "Let's Begin" link, our Client Care Coordinator will match you with one of our therapists. You'll be contacted to schedule your first appointment.

When you arrive, you'll check in at the front desk and have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea, coffee, or water in our comfortable waiting room. Your therapist will greet you and welcome you into a room with... you guessed it... couches. Choose whichever one you're drawn to and have a seat.

The first session will primarily be for getting to know one another. Feel free to ask any questions you have, or if you're feeling a bit shy, allow your therapist to break the ice. There's no expectation to dive into your deepest secrets immediately, but if you're ready to, your therapist is prepared to go there with you.

Subsequent sessions will be aimed at supporting you with whatever you may need for that session. Even if you don't know where to start, your therapist will guide you.

Benefits of Therapy
Therapy can lead to improvements in all areas of life. If you feel like something is holding you back from living life as you envision it, therapy can help you address this. When you're unsure what's preventing change, therapy can help you discover the answer.

While considering therapy, it's natural to think about potential drawbacks. You may be concerned about cost or the difficulty of the work. Therapy isn't always a quick fix and requires honesty and trust in both yourself and your therapist. But if you're willing, therapy offers a safe, judgment-free space where you can share anything with a trained professional who is there to help. Here are just a few benefits:

You will learn more about yourself. As your therapist listens to your story, they can make connections and offer insights if you feel lost.

Therapy can help you achieve goals you already have, clarify ones that seem unachievable, or discover new ones to empower you.

Therapy can help you relate more with others, leading to more fulfilled relationships, less insecurity, and increased trust.

You are more likely to experience better health, as research supports a link between mind and body wellness.

Change is possible, and we are here to support you on this journey.
